About Us
Our practice at Indicom Valuation Inc. is primarily related to commercial and industrial properties. We appraise and review a wide variety of property types. Indicom Valuation’s geographic area focuses on Simcoe County Ontario encompassing the key communities of Barrie, Orillia, Collingwood, Innisfil and Alliston. Depending on the assignment we also offer our services in the Muskokas, Dufferin County and York.
Our clients include lending institutions, accountants, lawyers, insurance companies, investors, business owners and individuals.
Where appropriate we utilize the RS Means and Saylor Valuation Cost Guides to provide component cost estimates for all types of structures. Our strong attention to cost has also made it possible to provide specific appraisals for unique and special use properties.
John Lorenzen
John is owner and chief appraiser of Indicom Valuation Inc. He is among the limited number of Canadian real estate appraisers holding the AACI, P. App. designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. The Appraisal Institute is the profession’s most prestigious and well recognized national organization. The Institute’s AACI, P. App designation (Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute, Professional Appraiser) is awarded to professionals who have completed a rigorous education, an applied experience program under the guidance of a mentor, and testing requirements relating to the valuation of all classes of commercial real estate. As an accredited member of the Appraisal Institute, John is committed to ongoing education and high ethical and professional standards. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a dedication to excellence to each and every assignment.
John was honored and privileged to have been mentored by Mr. Robert Stewart AACI, P. App, who over a distinguished 40 year career, founded and built a highly respected Barrie-based appraisal practice.
